Garden Buildings

James Ward uses the same materials and exacting construction methods as used on his beach hut designs to create unique high-quality custom made garden buildings.

Wooden garages, garden studios, summerhouses, stable blocks and custom workshops can be specially designed to house hobbyist materials and equipment.

large_summerhouse1Many people work from home these days and find that having an office in the garden frees up lots of space in the house. It can be a much more cost-effective option than renting premises and provides a pleasant working environment and an extremely short commute time to the office!

Using pressure-treated timber to withstand the vagaries of the environment and with laminated glass for windows and doors, topped with optional roofing shingles (see chart below), these substantial, individually-designed wooden buildings will enhance your property and provide a quiet retreat, spacious working area or attractive storage for your car or work materials.

The interior of your building can also include made-to-measure furniture and fittings – cupboards, desks, storage units and workstations can all be tailored to suit available space and your individual requirements.

The same complete service is offered – from clearing your old building and preparation of the site through to the finished new building in your choice of attractive colours (above), ready to use.

A new wooden gate can enhance your property as well as providing a valuable extra level of security. James Ward’s gates can be designed in almost any style to compliment your building and will provide years of service with a minimum of maintenance.

Your gates can be in natural wood colours or finished with the range of environmentally friendly water-based paints shown above. Hinges, bolts and locks are robust, weather-resistant and fitted with the same eye to detail as James’ buildings and furniture.
